So happy with our new windows done by Energy Kingston! We were devastated to learn that we had extensive rot under one window thanks to a poor cover-up-fix by previous owners. Mike and his crew were knowledgeable and skilled – clearing out the rotten wood and re-building the wall right before putting in the new. On our other two windows, they performed thorough checks and replaced mouldy drywall, insulation and vapour barrier. It was easy to feel at ease through the process as we could trust that the job was getting done right. The installation team definitely went above and beyond and even created custom baseboard to match what was already in place in our rooms and did a beautiful custom trim. From beginning to end, the process was smooth. Mike in particular made things so easy as a customer, as he was easy to contact, knew the process and his product well, and dealt with us like we were family. I have owned several properties over the years and have used EK for all the window and door replacement. Mike and Debbie (the owners) have always been friendly and helpful. They were prompt with the site visit and estimate and they took the time to review the entire quote and answer all our questions about the process with our family so we could understand every detail of the work and make an informed decision. The workmanship was excellent and the crew were a pleasure to have work at our home. Everyday they cleaned the yard and swept for debris and nails. You would never know they had been here except for the excellent new roof. We are extremely happy with our new roof and the service from EKE. We recently called EKE on a Sunday morning as we thought squirrels had found a way into the attic through a hole in the original soffit. EKE came right away and closed the opening for us. Energy Kingston Exteriors installed a patio door for me 26 years ago and it still looks like brand new! On Valentine’s day of this year, they replaced 4 windows and did a fantastic job! the installers were courteous, particular about their work, and treated myself, the home owner respectfully. Mike was very respectful and approachable, and gave prompt attention to a couple of minor issues I had concerning the completed windows. The windows’ installation costs were very fair and he didn’t try to talk me into something I didn’t need. Mike was a pleasure to correspond with by phone. All in all, they’re the best and I’ve already recommended them to numerous others!
